swaying 05:23
Heading on up to the rise to see my birth love one more time after I die. Please don't be scared of the flight. This day had to come, it was only a matter of time. And so we'll be swaying, watching the sea rise and fall. And so you cremate me. I'll float through the breeze to the soil. These ashes are me in disguise. And though I am dead I still sing through your sighs. I know about circles of life. Just look for the seed that so longs to reach out for the light. Where you'll see me swaying, watching the sea rise and fall. My limbs won't be breaking. They'll hold you with ease, without toil. Let's hope it's 2075, the last year I saw you see me still alive. A year that passed well with broad smiles. A year when I understood me through your eyes. When we danced slowly swaying, watching the sea rise and fall. With memory unfading, this mountain is hearing my call. This mountain is hearing my call.

slumberlove 03:36
At night I can take the longest road. Inside is everything you want me for. Open up your arms and take my soul. Serenade apart and feel the slumberlove. Realise a break in time is all we need. Grey skies, a promise kept beyond the seas. Open up your arms and take my soul. Serenade apart and feel the slumberlove. And feel the slumberlove. And feel the slumberlove.

When I cannot find the strength in me I remember what you said on that day. You said the world was changing more than me. That's okay you'll take the better road. You know that I can take you there. You know that I can take you there. You know that I can take you there. When I cannot find your face lost amongst the seas I remember what you looked like fixed against the breeze. And you said "I'm not the only one who feels the way you do". You said "There's more to strength than those silent steely eyes". You know that I can take you there. You know that I can take you there. You know that I can take you there. In you I find the strength to hang on and while away the day beneath the sun. In you I find the strength to hold on and shelter from the world within your arms.

I will look out over that green old mountainside, looking for the quiet place that we used to hide. And I'll think of the kiss that we soon parted; remember things that I could've started, but there's more than dreams in the kiss, the laugh and the smile. We followed the moon out long past miracle mile. Cooked up a storm in the rain around a fire. I set this heart-shaped leaf on your pillow, a pleasantry before the show. In the quiet place of the kiss, the laugh and the smile. But no high's gonna bring me down tonight. Lil' ole' me in this cave to witness the starriest of skies. Guess it gives me the chance to sit here wondering why two birds can't live alone, together. And candles burn but not forever. Still I dwell on the thoughts of the kiss, the laugh and the smile. But no high's gonna bring me down tonight. With featherless heart through the retraced steps of time. Eyes cast down till' I see my own street sign. It's through your eyes I want to follow. Will yesterday become tomorrow? To mornings love bring the kiss, the laugh and the smile. But no high's gonna bring me down tonight. But no high's gonna bring me down tonight. Won't you bring me down tonight?

spinning 03:57
Looking at the past, Thinking that it's all one golden hue, You think that I'm too fast, But you ain't seen how fast I run from you, Like all good things we must come to an end, Like all good things we must come to an end, Hey there where'd you go? Your eyes stare out like afterthoughts, And you spin around, you spin around, hoping that you don't get caught, But like all good things this spinning had to end, But like all good things this spinning had to end, This night it don't seem right to be so tired, And you're right, bout' almost everything in sight, Thinking of the past, And what it did to you.

I don't like the lesson that you taught me Because you had to sacrifice it all We rode our bikes so fast it blurred the spokies All the while I was looking up at you But the memory's not faded Even though inside yourself you thought it had You only wanted to give some life to someone else But on the way you went and lost your own Beyond those eyes you mind a secret story All the chapters held so close within Saw you smile that one last time in Collingwood I should have tried with more to help you stay But the memory's not faded Even though inside yourself you thought it had You only wanted to give some life to a good cause But on the way you went and lost your own.

the tide 04:02
Nestle in my chest, So you can see me from below, Do your worst or do your best, It doesn't worry me I've seen it all before, For the tide, It moves in you, Backwards slide, Hoping I can pull you through, When life becomes a mess, And all that you have left to do is lose control, Just bring your pulse to rest, Swaying gently on the ebb and flow, For the tide, It moves in you, Forward flight, I can see the total you in you, I can see the total you in you, When all I see is the hair spilling down your face, I look the other way, But then one moment more and it's pulled back away, What am I to say? Your tide has taken me away, Your tide has taken me away, Your tide has taken me away.

I resist and you strip my body of itself, Waylaid and surrendered, Thrown from my ship by my own inertia, Hold onto hope within this sea, I cannot persuade my demons to be angels, They're just not hungry for the change, With this breaking of perspective, Comes the breaking of me, Storm clouds won't tempt their waters not to fall, For some time they too will part, Knowing also they were one before, Knowing also so were we, I spend my days saving, If only I could release, The one broken angel I need, I cannot persuade my demons to be angels, They're just not hungry for the change, With this breaking of perspective, Comes the breaking of me.
9.
There was a time, When I let it all out, There was a time, When I led you around, There's no way of knowing, That all things begin today… begin today… begin today…It takes hope to recognize, That love is here to stay, It takes more than Slumberlove, Will you hold the day? There's no way of knowing, That all things must begin today… begin today… begin today…
